Sunnah prayer is a practice that we must maintain and routine. Among its virtues, the sunnah prayer will cover the shortcomings in the obligatory prayer. From Abu Hurairah, he said that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said:

«إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَا يُحَاسَبُ النَّاسُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنpet جَلَّ وَعَزَّ لِمَلاَئِكَتِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ انْظُfor تَامَّةً كُتِبَتْ لَهُ تَامَّةً وَإِنْ كَانَ انْتَقَصَ مِنْهَا شَيْئًا قَالَ انْظُرُوunt فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُ تَطَوُّعٌ قَالَ أَتِمُّوا لِعَبْدِى فَرِيضَتَهُ مِنْ تَطَوُّعِهِ ذَاكُمْ ».

"Indeed, the first practice that was first judged to humans on the Day of Judgment later was prayer.
